Bramble was only with us for nine weeks and one day, he gave us a battle from the start, he had difficulty suckling and needed to be tube fed as he wouldn’t take a bottle, it was hard work feeding every three hours but he was worth every minute of it.

We finally thought we were winning the battle with him when he started eating himself, the kittens then all suffered from a bacterial infection, despite antibiotics he just couldn’t fight it anymore and died in the afternoon on Tuesday 13th April 2004 at the vet, unfortunately there was nothing else they could do for him, his liver and kidneys were failing.

He was much smaller than the other kittens despite being the biggest when he was born, he was the sweetest little boy you could ever wish to meet, he liked nothing more than to be cuddled, he was a little bit feisty though, growling at the others when they played too rough, he never got to join in much with the playing and now he never will again.
He spent most evenings having cuddles and everyone that met him loved him, a very, very special little boy, who is so very sorely missed.

He was going to be called Daisypurr Busta Bramble when he went to his new home, but I decided to change it back to Daisypurr Forever Bramble as he will now stay here at Daisypurr, forever in our hearts and thoughts.
