Poppy's Diary 2006

11th September 2006:

Well it’s been a long time since the last update here, the girls and I are now in our new home, we’ve all settled in well and the girls are trying their hardest to wreck the place while I’m up to my eyes in decorating! they’re pretty much back to their normal routine, Daisy wasn’t traumatized at being dragged away from the ducks like I’d imagined and Poppy is glad to be home and Evie is so laid back she’s not really bothered where she lives as long as someone cuddles and feeds her!

Evie has grown into a lovely, sweet girl who loves nothing more than being cuddled, she’s fantastic at playing fetch with a hair band, brings it right back and puts it on your lap, quite often you don’t even have to move!

Have had recent updates on all of the boys and all six of them are doing well, I can hardly believe how old they are now and a special thank you has to go to all of their owners for keeping me up to date on their progress.

26th May 2006:

As you’ll see from our show page Bailey made his show debut and a very good day he had too! I could hardly believe it when I saw him he is absolutely HUGE! He has grown into such a lovely boy, a real credit to both Daisypurr and to Steven and Kerry, we had some professional photos taken at the show which you can find on the site.

Congratulations to Steven, Kerry, Bailey and Ollie on the birth of the lovely Ava who arrived on 6th May, there are some photos of Ava on the new owners page.

Evie had a good day at her second adult show on Saturday, getting her CC, BOB and a first in her side class.

We have moved, I’m currently staying with a friend and the girls are having a holiday, they spent some time with Marcia and are currently staying with Claire, Thanks to Marcia and Claire for having them to stay! We should all be back together soon.

I went to visit them in their holiday home at the weekend, Daisy loves it there, she gets to watch the birds and the ducks running around the garden, Poppy is not convinced and is looking forward to coming home but Evie’s comforting her. Even though Evie is over a year old now Poppy still thinks that she needs to wash her and look after her, ever the good mum!

12th March 2006:

As you can see we’ve been busy at the shows with Evie, she got made up to Champion at the TICA show in February and then got awarded her first CC at her first adult GCCF show in March. Hopefully Bailey from our 2006 litter will be making his show debut soon.
The girls are doing well, Evie is growing and fast overtaking Poppy in size, Daisy, Poppy and Evie try their best to wreck the house with their antics.

Poppy’s still chewing toothbrushes so I’ve left one in there for her to munch on now in the hope that she might leave mine alone!

7th February 2006:

Welcome to the new Daisypurr Website, huge thanks to Danny for all the time spent making me such a beautiful site to show off my lovely girls and thanks to Mel for her help with cutting the photos to show them all off so well.

As you can see the beautiful photo’s taken by my friends Toly and Valentina once again take pride of place on the site, to see more of their work please visit www.photocat.co.uk

You can see some new photos of Archie and Bailey with Kaydn, I often get asked how the kittens get on with young children and I think Archie, Bailey and Kaydn are showing you that they get on just fine!
We have some new photo’s of Winston who is still enjoying life with Carrie in London and some news photo’s of Bailey and Ollie enjoying being spoilt at Christmas, they’re going to take some tips from their half brothers Archie and Bailey on how to look after a new baby ready for the new arrival to the Oliver family in May who we can’t wait to meet.

The girls have been busy as usual, we had some snow over Christmas so I took them out in the garden to play in it, although Poppy took one look at how cold it was and ran upstairs, Daisy and Evie enjoyed playing in it.

Evie has grown lots, she’s now bigger than Poppy and only just weighs less, she play fights with Poppy and Daisy and they all run around the house like lunatics, great to watch though. Evie is a complete baby and would quite happily lie on my lap all day given the chance!
